A serious long-distance cruising yacht, extensively refitted in 2017\u20132018 for participation in the Golden Globe Race.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before the race, a major refit was completed at a Spanish shipyard, with strength tests, new rigging, ballast, and rudder installed. New North Sails, a Volvo Penta D2-40 engine, solar panels, radio, windvane, hydrogenerator, emergency rudder, and fittings for emergency sail rigging were also added.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All work was completed with a no-expense-spared approach, making her truly unique \u2013 a \u2018Land Rover Defender 4&#215;4 of the ocean.\u2019\u00a0In 2023, after returning to the Mediterranean, additional work was done including refreshing the cabin interior, treating the teak deck, installing new portholes, custom-made mattresses, AIS and other equipment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Now ready to sail for a new owner, she\u2019s equipped for challenges in the Southern Ocean or for comfortable, confident cruising.<\/li>\n<li>The yacht available for viewing on Aegina, Greece, from 5 to 10 June.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DESIGN<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Builder: BELLIURE CALPE<\/li>\n<li>Designer: Peter Ibold<\/li>\n<li>Designer notes: The Endurance 35 is a classic long-distance cruiser known for seaworthiness, versatility and safe ocean passages.
